I know it’s going to be a great week when I get a gigantic World of Warcraft Mega Bloks Goblin Zeppelin Ambush set in the mail one day, and then four small vehicle and beast Warcraft Mega Bloks sets the next!
These four new Mega Bloks World of Warcraft sets include:
- Flying Machine with Gnome Rogue 91018
- Goblin Trike with Goblin Warrior 91019
- Swift Wyvern with Tauren Hunter 91020
- Swift Gryfon with Worgen Death Knight 91021
The Flying Machine set is especially nice, as it includes the very first Mega Bloks Gnome figure! Also, although I got my first Goblin, Tauren, and Worgen Mega Bloks Warcraft figures with the Goblin Zeppelin Ambush 91014 yesterday, these figures look drastically different because of all of the great customizable armor features integrated into the Warcraft Mega Bloks line, and I feel they’re definitely well-worth getting in addition to those entries. (The Goblin and Worgen in the Zeppelin set were both Rogues, and the Tauren was a Paladin, so the classes of the figures in that set were completely different from the ones in these smaller sets.)
I’m already in the process of opening and assembling the Swift Wyvern 91020, and will have more photos and coverage of that set up later today. I’ll follow up with features on the other four sets as the week goes on.
These sets are likely to be priced at $15-$17 in most stores, making them about double the price of the Factions figure packs. But given that you’re either getting an all-new outrageously cool beast or a blok-heavy first-release Warcraft vehicle in each set, I think these are easily worth that asking price. And since the Gryfon and Wyvern are both living creatures, we’re adding two more races to the breadth of the Mega Bloks Warcraft brand already!
All four of these sets are in-stock and shipping from BA Toys right now, which I believe is the only retailer in America to have gotten them in stock so quickly.
