It seems sort of silly to do an “in-progress build photos” post of the World of Warcraft Mega Bloks Swift Wyvern 91020 set that only includes 24-something pieces, but I like to save the completed set photos for when I have time to write up the full review for a set (which, in this case, will be later this week!). So, I thought everyone might enjoy the opportunity to take a look at the pieces of this set, freshly-removed from the package and still unassembled…

The Mega Bloks World of Warcraft Swift Wyvern 91020 set is significant because it contains the only Tauren figure in the Fall 2012 Warcraft Mega Bloks line other than the Tauren Paladin in the fairly-expensive Goblin Zeppelin Ambush 91014 set. The War-Box weapon that the Tauren Hunter comes with also looks incredibly slick and deadly in his hands. It’s definitely one of my favorite weapons from this Fall 2012 assortment!

This is a pretty small set, so the box only contains three plastic bags and the instruction booklet. One bag contains the pre-assembled Tauren Hunter figure and his weapon, the second bag contains the Swift Wyvern’s wings, and the third bag contains the remaining pieces of the Swift Wyvern. As you can tell from the relatively low number of pieces here, this is going to be a straight-forward and easy build of the Tauren’s red mount.

Once you get the pieces laid out, it’s self-explanatory that this set is going to take a minute or less to build. But one thing that seems highly suspicious about the pieces from this set that I’ve laid out here is that there appear to be two right rear legs and no left rear legs. It’s possible that something miraculous is going to happen when I actually assemble the Swift Wyvern, but I have a hunch that this is going to be a real issue with the build of the particular set that I received…
