The first insanely huge World of Warcraft Mega Bloks set is officially released, as I got my Goblin Zeppelin Attack 91014 set in the mail from BA Toys today!
Despite containing only 310 pieces, this is a hefty set with an absolutely enormous box. The Goblin Zeppelin Attack includes three figures from different races, and all three figures look fantastic and are going to be great selling-points for this set. The three figures you get are Worgen Rogue Darkhowl, Goblin Rogue Krazzle, and Tauren Paladin Lighthoof.
The heavily-armored Lighthoof looks like a total monster and a real force to be reckoned with, whereas Krazzle has a sword that’s literally as big as he is, and Darkhowl’s lime green sword and shoulder pads are some of my favorite accessories yet from the Mega Bloks World of Warcraft toys.
Of course, the big attraction of this set is the Goblin Zeppelin! The Zeppelin looks like it’s going to be substantially large once it’s fully-built, and it very well may end up being bigger than 90%+ of the Halo Mega Bloks vehicles, despite being a first wave release! The box doesn’t really describe the features of the Mega Bloks Goblin Zeppelin, but it looks like it has a firing cannon and also a rotating propeller on the back. In addition, the set includes an Alliance Catapult, which is lucky for the Alliance–otherwise they’d stand no chance against the Zeppelin!
The package also mentions that the set “includes secret loot!”, although I have no clue whatsoever what that would be. Is it a bonus weapon? An extra set of customizable armor for your Mega Bloks Warcraft figures to wear? A mini treasure box of gold and jewels? I’ve no idea, but I’ll certainly let the cat out of the bag and photograph the secret loot once I fully unload this set from the box.
Keep checking back, as I’ll be posting photos throughout the week as I build the World of Warcraft Mega Bloks Goblin Zeppelin Ambush 91014 in preparation for a full, in-depth photo review this weekend!
