The LEGO Creator theme has become the home for innovative builds that can be reconfigured into two (and sometimes more) totally different builds, so my curiosity was definitely piqued when “31038 Changing Seasons” turned up on the rumored list of Creator summer 2015 sets. After over a year of waiting and buildup, Star Wars Celebration Anaheim has come at last! While the event itself won’t begin for a couple hours yet (what with being on the west coast and all), I saved my his-res photos from New York Toy Fair 2015 of one more mass-release LEGO Star Wars Summer 2015 set for discussion while we wait! I’d like to say I saved the most exciting sets for last, but, well… it’s not. Even so, the LEGO 75091 Flash Speeder is the first time the vehicle has gotten an upgrade in a full 15 years!

I’ve been talking about the LEGO Legends of Chima theme since months before the first sets were released, so it feels weird knowing this is the last time I’ll ever talk about an upcoming Chima set again (barring some unforeseen miracle resurrection for theme). Over the last two weeks, I’ve gone back and redone my coverage of all of the LEGO Scooby-Doo sets that we only saw low-res, grainy images of when the sets leaked prior to the New York Toy Fair 2015. Last night I talked about the only Mixels figures coming this summer: LEGO Mixels Series 5. But that’s not the end of Mixels toys for this year! We don’t usually get new sets in mid-fall, but this time we are.
Coming in October 2015, it’s the final known series of Mixels: LEGO Mixels Series 6! And not only will the series give us another pair of all-new tribes, but the grossest Mixels tribe is also back for another go: the second trio of members of the Mixels Glorp Corp tribe!
