I had a hunch that we might be seeing the 2014 LEGO Ninjago winter sets sooner than later, and LEGO has now officially verified that! The online LEGO Store has now confirmed that we will be seeing the new LEGO Ninjago sets released on December 1st, 2013–just in time to give (or receive) the best LEGO Ninjago Christmas presents! Along with that confirmation, we finally got to see clear, high-resolution images of one of the best sets from the winter Ninjago wave: the Ninjago LEGO NinjaCopter 70724!

LEGO has done an admirable job of concealing the secrets of the Winter 2014 LEGO Minifigures Series 12 71003 for as long as they possibly could, but the time for secrecy is at an end! With the 71003 LEGO Minifigures Series 12 blind bags scheduled to officially launch on January 1st 2014, LEGO is giving us two full months to salivate over the photos of the next sixteen LEGO Minifigures series figures, all of which are specific characters drawn from next year’s sure-to-be-hit “The LEGO Movie”!

At the end of last week we got our first photo preview of one of the new LEGO Chima 2014 minifigures in the form of Blista the Bat Tribe minifigure, and now it looks like that was just the first in a string of 2014 LEGO Legends of Chima images!

The second of the new LEGO Chima Animal Tribes to be officially revealed is the Rhino Tribe, beginning with the Rogon the Rhino minifigure from this winter’s LEGO Legends of Chima Rogon’s Rock Flinger 70131 set!

It’s been a slow LEGO news week, but just in time for the weekend images of a trio of previously-unseen sets have leaked out! We first saw rumor lists months ago of the upcoming Fall/Winter 2013 LEGO The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug sets, but the only set to have any images at all revealed up until now was the LEGO The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug Lake-Town Chase set that was first shown this summer at San Diego Comic Con 2013. However, at long last, the remaining three LEGO The Hobbit 2013 sets have appeared!

Yesterday LEGO finally released the long-awaited LEGO Architecture United Nations Headquarters 21018 set, thus allowing LEGO Architecture collectors a brief respite and the chance to be totally up-to-date in their collections.
