MEGA Brands shocked the brick-collecting world at the New York Toy Fair 2015, when they quietly announced that they had acquired the license to produce Mega Bloks Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles construction sets and figures. Yes, that’s right, for one it is MEGA Brands who snatched a license away from LEGO and not the other way around! Crazy, right? The LEGO Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie sets aren’t supposed to be officially released until next week (July 1st, 2014), but that isn’t stopping the world’s largest online retailer from getting the drop on all of their competitors! To the dismay of many, the only way to get LEGO minifigures of all four movie TMNT turtles will be to buy multiple sets–and none of them are cheap. But thanks to a pretty nifty pre-order discount, you can get the classic-inspired LEGO Turtle Van and the other two LEGO TMNT movie sets for at least a bit off their retail prices!

Last month we got our first peek at the LEGO 2014 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles T-Sub Undersea Chase set via a low-quality retail catalog scan of the set. This month, we’ve moved up in the world, as the official box art for the 2014 LEGO TMNT Turtle Sub Undersea Chase 79121 has now appeared!
While I was a bit indifferent to the Turtle Sub based off the initial look at it, with the hi-res image of it, I am now totally sold on this being the best of the LEGO 2014 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated sets…

While we’ve been enduring the agonizing wait time for the arrival of the 2014 LEGO Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sets, we’ve previously uncovered images of three out of the four sets. A fourth set containing the Shredder’s daughter, Karai, has been rumored since last year, but no photos of that set had surfaced… until now!
We’re going to have to wait a few months for its arrival, but in the meantime, we can now all oogle the LEGO Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2014 Karai Bike Escape 79118 set!
