You know you’re a genuine comic book nerd when: an exclusive LEGO figure of the Bizarro Batman, Batzarro is announced, and you actually know who that character is.

LEGO is apparently planning to crank out LEGO DC Super Heroes products in 2015 like never before, and over the weekend, word broke about their next endeavor: an original animated LEGO Justice League movie! The LEGO DC Comics: Justice League vs. Bizarro League movie is coming to DVD/Blu-Ray in 2015, and it’s bringing along an exclusive LEGO Batzarro minifigure!

2015 LEGO Brainiac Attack 76040 DC Superheroes Set!

When the 2015 LEGO DC Super Heroes sets’ images leaked out back in September, there was one straggler that was holding out on us. We knew the set’s name and contents from earlier materials, but photos of this LEGO DC Comics 2015 set managed to elude us for more than an additional month.

But today, the void in our hearts and the blank in our wish lists can be filled–the LEGO DC Super Heroes Brainiac Attack 76040 set (with Martian Manhunter and Supergirl minifigures!) has now finally been revealed!

Way back in July, I was scandalized when LEGO decided to make the LEGO Rocket Raccoon Warbird set a SDCC 2014 exclusive. I wasn’t thrilled about it, but I ended up dropping $100+ for that SDCC 2014 LEGO Rocket Raccoon set so that I could have a complete Rocket Raccoon shrine (I’m not kidding). Now I somewhat regret that decision, because I overpaid by at least $95 to get that LEGO Rocket Raccoon minifigure–because a Toys R Us exclusive Rocket Raccoon polybag with the same Rocket has now turned up online!

In 2015, the LEGO Justice League is ready to expand! Earlier I took a look at the 76026 LEGO Gorilla Grodd Goes Bananas Set, which didn’t exactly blow me away. Luckily, that’s the weakest of the LEGO DC 2015 sets for this winter! And the strongest? Hands-down, it’s the LEGO DC Darkseid Invasion 76028 set, which will give us our first LEGO Darkseid, Cyborg, Hawkman, and New 52 Green Arrow minifigures!

LEGO seems to have sprung a leak (so to speak), as images of the LEGO Winter 2015 sets are now being revealed fast and furiously! Yesterday we saw all the LEGO Movie 2015 sets, and today it looks like it’s DC’s turn! The LEGO DC Super Heroes 2015 theme sets have now appeared, and while it doesn’t contain any new hero minifigures, the LEGO Gorilla Grodd Goes Bananas 76026 set gives us a pair of new super-villains: LEGO Grodd and Captain Cold!

Once the LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham video game was announced for release, I knew that 2015 was going to be a huge year for the LEGO Batman (LEGO DC Super Heroes) line of sets. And as is sometimes the case (I’m batting about 70/30 lately), my prediction was right. However, LEGO has completed blown away all of my expectations–the 2015 LEGO DC Superheroes sets contain unquestionably best wave of LEGO DC Minifigures that we’ve ever gotten! The first-ever LEGO minifigures of Darkseid, Brainiac, and Supergirl–and even the return of LEGO Green Arrow–are coming our way in January 2015!

Last night I chatted up a storm about the newly-reissued LEGO Arctic Scout 30310 polybag set that’s just started to hit stores again this past week. But of course, that’s not the only LEGO polybag making the rounds in the build-up to Halloween–and it’s definitely not going to be the most popular one! LEGO Batman Tumbler 76023 UCS Set Up for Order!

It’s been common knowledge for most of 2014 that LEGO has been “secretly” working on a huge, Ultimate Collector Series (UCS) LEGO Batman Tumbler for release in late summer 2014. It’s also been widely speculated and agreed-upon among LEGO collectors that said set would of course debut at San Diego Comic-Con 2014 (what with it being the largest superhero convention in the world and all). So with SDCC 2014 just a few days away, we just have to wait and our patience will finally be rewarded! …What’s that? Oh… never mind. As it turns out, LEGO apparently ran out of patience themselves, as the UCS LEGO Batman Tumbler 76023 set has now been fully revealed!

When word broke that the plot of the LEGO Batman 3 video game had to do with Batman going into space and dealing with Sinestro and the various Lantern Corps, it seemed like only a matter of time until a LEGO Green Lantern minifigure made his debut. I was genuinely starting to wonder if LEGO was just not going to show off their final few San Diego Comic Con 2014 exclusive LEGO sets and minifigures before the SDCC 2014 Preview Night tomorrow, but with one day to go, LEGO has successfully managed to debut all of their con exclusives (though they certainly cut it a little close)! The final two show exclusives included a free promo minifigure and another limited-edition $39.99 set, and both are Batman-themed! It’s the SDCC 2014 Exclusive LEGO Batman Classic Batmobile and LEGO Batman of Zur-En-Arrh minifigure!

LEGO DC Superheroes fans rejoiced at the end of January 2014 when it was revealed that the LEGO Stores March 2014 free promo minifigure would be the last DC Super Heroes minifigure needed to complete the Justice League: Martian Manhunter! But this story has a shocking plot twist–if you snoozed, you missed out! Though the LEGO Martian Manhunter minifigure promo was meant to last until March 31 2014, the promo has sold out in just 10 days and is no longer available!
