When I walked out of seeing The LEGO Movie for the very first time two weeks ago, I instantly wanted to head to my local LEGO Store and buy Benny’s Spaceship to take home and build–no matter what it cost! There was only one problem–the LEGO Movie Benny’s Spaceship set hadn’t been released (or even officially announced) at the time. Even so, we knew that the set was in the works, and at this week’s New York Toy Fair 2014, the LEGO Movie Benny’s Spaceship Spaceship SPACESHIP! 70816 was officially announced and revealed to the public!

Christmas may be ten months away, but it’s never too early to get ready for the LEGO Star Wars 2014 Advent Calendar! While the LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendars have traditionally been slow sellers, the 2013 LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar was a quick sellout. Last year’s set was headlined by the whimsical LEGO Santa Jango, but we learned at the Toy Fair 2014 this week that this year’s headliner is even crazier–LEGO Santa Darth Vader!
