Coming off of last week’s insanely hectic New York Toy Fair 2015/Blizzard trip, I’m backlogged on everything. In fact, I hadn’t even been out to a retail store in a whole week, which must be some kind of record for me! But I broke that streak today, as I headed back to my favorite local Toys R Us stores, where I found the majority of the March 2015 LEGO sets–including the whole first-ever series of LEGO Speed Champions sets!

Other than how to build them out of LEGO bricks, I don’t know squat about cars. No, seriously–if a bandit held a gun to my head and told me I had to change my own flat tire, I would be in serious trouble. Luckily, things aren’t quite that dire, but I do have to write about some fancy cars now with names that are foreign to me (outside of the knowledge that some of these cars were G1 Transformers), because coming in January 2015–LEGO Speed Champions car sets for brands like Ferrari and Porsche are driving in!
