It’s hard to believe, but we are just two days away from the biggest LEGO unveiling of the entire year–the New York Toy Fair 2014! While many LEGO 2014 summer sets have already been seen at events like the 2014 Nuremeberg Toy Fair, this is the first time the sets will be seen stateside–and the very first time photography of some sets will be allowed. LEGO 2013 Advent Calendars Sold Out; Prices Explode Online!

For as long as I can remember LEGO producing LEGO Advent Calendars, I can remember hundreds of the various LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendars and LEGO City Advent Calendars accumulating into piles and sitting on stores shelves at clearance prices for months after the holidays are over. I always buy my Advent Calendar LEGO sets early (because I’m crazy), but I’ve also always taken for granted that there would be a surplus left in stores long after the holidays. Well… it looks like that isn’t the case anymore, as the 2013 LEGO Advent Calendars are totally sold out and becoming very expensive on the aftermarket…

LEGO Sales and Deals Holiday 2013! (Updated 12/7/2013)

Now that November 2013 and the holiday shopping season have arrived, so too have the Holiday 2013 LEGO Sales and Deals! The last two months of any given calendar year have more great discounts and savings on LEGO sets than pretty much any other time of the year, and I’ll be doing my best to keep this site updated with the major sales and discounts going on as we approach Christmas and the 2013 Holiday Season!

When I went to the LEGO Store over the weekend, it was strictly to hunt down and obtain the LEGO Star Wars 2013 Advent Calendar set (which I did). But ever since, something was nagging at the back of my mind, urging me to go back to the LEGO Store. And there was only way to scratch the itch, and that was to return to the store and pick up the 2013 LEGO City Advent Calendar 60024, which has now been released in stores as well!

Most LEGO collectors have just a few themes that they like to concentrate on, whether it be LEGO Star Wars and LEGO Lord of the Rings or LEGO Batman and Ninjago (and so forth). But if there’s one thing that seems to be able to cross the theme boundaries and get buyers to buy sets from themes they usually wouldn’t it’s LEGO polybag sets! Low-priced and always with something exclusive, LEGO polybag sets are much-loved by LEGO fans the world over. And to show that LEGO loves polybags too, they’ve sent Walmart stores huge display boxes filled with a variety of a half-dozen different LEGO 2013 polybag sets!
