Just when I thought it was safe to travel back into the wilderness, an unexpected pair of clever girls have struck!
I thought that I had covered all of the LEGO Jurassic World sets coming to stores this summer, but I was mistaken–there’s a sixth and final set on the way: the retailer exclusive LEGO Raptor Escape 75920 has now appeared! And it’s come packing the final two members of the Raptor Squad: Echo and Charlie!

I outright detested the third Hobbit movie. I’ll be a Peter Jackson fan for life for his work on the Lord of the Rings trilogy (and to some extent his first two Hobbit films), but The Hobbit: The Battle of Five Armies was a huge disappointment and a real dud in my opinion. So you would probably expect that I would be nowhere near a store at 9AM on the morning the Hobbit: Battle of Five Armies DVD/Blu-Ray set is released. But you would be wrong. Because as much as I hate that movie, I love exclusive minifigures more: the Target Exclusive Hobbit 3 Blu-Ray with Bard and exclusive Bain minifigures has now been released!

Last night I talked about the only Mixels figures coming this summer: LEGO Mixels Series 5. But that’s not the end of Mixels toys for this year! We don’t usually get new sets in mid-fall, but this time we are.
Coming in October 2015, it’s the final known series of Mixels: LEGO Mixels Series 6! And not only will the series give us another pair of all-new tribes, but the grossest Mixels tribe is also back for another go: the second trio of members of the Mixels Glorp Corp tribe!

One theme that had all of its new upcoming 2015 sets debuted at the New York Toy Fair 2015 that I haven’t had a chance to talk about yet at all is one of my favorite niche themes: the Summer 2015 LEGO Mixels sets! We’ll have two more series of Mixels before the end of the year, with the next coming in June 2015!
And lest you be worried about the new sets just being rehashes of past Mixel ideas, have no fear: LEGO Mixels Series 5 will include two totally-new Mixels tribes!

Today is a big day for LEGO Jurassic Park fans! Not only did the first real LEGO Jurassic World video game gameplay trailer hit the internet today (and it looks good), but it’s also the day I’ll be wrapping up my New York Toy Fair 2015 LEGO Jurassic World coverage with all of my remaining hi-res photos of the final set that was revealed at the event last month.

Overnight, images leaked out earlier than expected of the 71016 LEGO The Simpsons Kwik-E-Mart set. That was a minor surprise, as we basically knew we’d be seeing the Kwik-E-Mart in all its Squishee glory at some point this month. But what we didn’t know was that we’d also be seeing the LEGO Simpsons Minifigures Series 2 blind bag figures revealed on the very same day!
