LEGO Star Wars Jawas T-Shirt Available 24 Hours Only!

Thanks to the monumental success of The LEGO Movie, LEGO is “cool” again in pop culture and back in the public eye like never before! As a result of this phenomenon, many artists have been inspired to create limited-edition LEGO T-Shirts this year with original artwork. While I’ve always been a limited-edition Tee Shirt nut, it’s gotten really out of hand this year with the cornucopia of great LEGO shirt designs that have been temporarily available. And now we can add another to the list–until midnight tonight (Monday, July 7th 2014) only—a new LEGO Star Wars Jawas T-Shirt is now available online for just $11!

Some people love clones, some love the Skywalker family, and some (but not many) love Jar Jar Binks. Me? My favorite characters in the Star Wars universe fall firmly and completely into three factions: Droids, Ewoks and Jawas. While the former two groups had their own (horrible) cartoons in the 1980’s, the Jawas have never gotten quite the same amount of attention or merchandising.

For that reason, I am a complete and total mark for Jawas merchandise, so I knew instantly when I saw the artwork for today’s Teefury shirt that it would be joining my (already overcrowded) collection of limited edition shirts.

Today’s Star Wars LEGO Jawas shirt is straight-forward and to the point: the Jawas are carrying away some piles of “broken”/non-assembled LEGO pieces, just as they do damaged or defective droids.
