Other than how to build them out of LEGO bricks, I don’t know squat about cars. No, seriously–if a bandit held a gun to my head and told me I had to change my own flat tire, I would be in serious trouble. Luckily, things aren’t quite that dire, but I do have to write about some fancy cars now with names that are foreign to me (outside of the knowledge that some of these cars were G1 Transformers), because coming in January 2015–LEGO Speed Champions car sets for brands like Ferrari, Porsche and McLaren are driving in!

Clearly, this is not my finest moment as a LEGO blogger.
So, to avoid filling up this article with too much blatant misinformation, I’m going to keep my commentary to a minimum (for once) and let the LEGO Speed Champions 2015 set names and photos speak for themselves. And thanks to YouTube user just2good for debuting these images!

LEGO is calling this one a “Ferrari”, but I’m pretty sure that this car is actually Mirage (AKA Dino) from the Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon movie. Well, reasonably sure, anyway.

2015 LEGO Speed Champions McLaren Mercedes Pit-Stop 75911
2015 LEGO Speed Champions Porsche 911 GT Finishing Line 75912
And last but not least, we have Mack (from Pixar’s Cars movies)! Sure, he’s not looking as sentient as he did in those movies, but I’m pretty dang sure that’s him. Mack is back for another day in the LEGO sun!

I can’t really speak for the authenticity of what LEGO has created in these sets (as I truly haven’t the slightest clue what any of these cars should look like to begin with), but I bet a lot of you car lovers can! So, um, what do you think of these assorted LEGO Speed Champions sets, LEGO fans? Will any or all of these LEGO 2015 sets be on your shopping lists this winter?
Shut up and take my money!!!
I`m not to wild about them, the Ferrari line of a few years ago was way better, especcially the F1 cars
And pssst, Dino was a Ferrari 😉
Wow, I am not impressed, I was expecting a lot more. Mega Blocks did a great job with the Need For Speed cars a couple of years back. The piece count is too small too even come close to what the cars look like and those F1 cars have too few pieces. Looks like I’ll be saving some money. By the way I have the Mack from Cars and it’s a fantastic set, makes me happy just thinking about it.
…The Yellow one is meant to be a Maclaren 🙂
Whatever that is! =P
