Earlier today I discussed two of the LEGO Movie 2015 sets–the LEGO Double-Decker Couch and the LEGO Batman & Super Angry Kitty Attack sets–and now it’s time to discuss the last of the 2015 LEGO Movie sets trio (and quite possibly the last LEGO Movie set ever for the time being). Along with being the largest and most expensive of the LEGO Movie Winter 2015 sets, this one’s also certain to be the worst-selling: it’s the LEGO Movie Bad Cop Car Chase 70819!

Of the three The LEGO Movie 2015 sets that will be hitting stores in January 2015, the 70819 LEGO Bad Cop Car Chase set is definitely the one that we’ve been the most in the dark about. Logic dictated that we would finally get the car version of Bad Cop’s police car in this set (the Bad Cop Flying Police Car was released in LEGO Bad Cop’s Pursuit 70802), and that turns out to be the case.

While not as flashy as the flying version of the car, this is still one of the more prominent vehicles from The LEGO Movie that needed to be done, so good job LEGO for getting to it!

In addition to the LEGO Bad Cop’s Police Car, the set also includes a LEGO Police Chopper motorcycle, two Robo SWAT minifigures, a LEGO Bad Cop minifigure, a LEGO Wyldstyle minifigure (with new face prints!), and–best of all–a chair for the LEGO Bad Cop to throw around relentlessly while having a tantrum! AWESOME!

I know this set will be less popular than the other two in the LEGO Movie Winter 2015 sets wave (as it’s basically just a villains set aside from the LEGO Wyldstyle figure), but I definitely think that it’s a fun and worthwhile pickup.

The 70819 LEGO Bad Cop Car Chase set is one of the three LEGO Winter 2015 sets scheduled to be released in January 2015. The set contains 292 pieces and should retail for around $29.99.
