LEGO Minifigures Character Encylopedia Exclusive Toy Soldier Photos

Looking to make your LEGO Minifigures collection a little more theatrical? LEGO has you covered with the upcoming exclusive Toy Soldier minifigure! When I first reported on the LEGO Minifigures Character Encylopedia last year, I was almost certain that the exclusive figure included with the set was going to be the rumored Toy Soldier minifigure. Now we know with 100% certainty that the Tin Soldier minifigure will be the LEGO Minifigures Character Encyclopedia exclusive minifigure, as final production photos of the book with the Toy Soldier have finally surfaced!

I think the above photo definitely confirms that the LEGO Toy Soldier Minifigure is indeed included exclusively with the LEGO Minifigures Encyclopedia and not a future series of minifigures such as LEGO Minifigures Series 11!

Along with the obligatory minifigure head, upper torso and lower torso, you also get a soldier’s hat, a cute little musket, and the big prize: a windup crank that can be attached to the Toy Soldier’s back! I was wondering how LEGO was going to execute the windup crank, and using an add-on piece that double as the Toy Soldier minifigure’s collar is pure brilliance.

Fully-built, the LEGO Toy Soldier figure looks exactly the way I pictured him in my mind! Standing at attention with a great big smile on his face, the Toy Soldier minifigure may win the prize for my absolute favorite LEGO Collectable Minifigure from the first 10 series.

I love that the Toy Soldier gets the page right next to Mr. Gold, the legendary LEGO Minifigures Series 10 Golden Minifigure! It definitely makes this exclusive Toy Soldier minifigure feel extra-special to be on the page adjoined to the rarest of all the LEGO Collectable Minifigures. It appears that the Toy Soldier will also be functioning as the “guide” (or a narrator–of a sort) that leads readers through the LEGO Minifigures Character Encyclopedia!
