It doesn’t happen often (in fact, I’m not sure this has ever happened in my entire life before), but yesterday my wife brought home a toy that I didn’t even know existed! From from the seasonal aisle at Target, it’s an all-new Legends of Chima Winzar’s Pack Patrol 30251 polybag set!

When my wife came home from work yesterday with a bag of groceries from Target, I accidentally stumbled upon an early Valentine’s Day gift I wasn’t supposed to find: a Winzar’s Pack Patrol Legends of Chima LEGO polybag set that I didn’t even know it existed!

Apparently, local Target stores have begun stocking this set in their seasonal section, which is currently set up for Valentine’s Day. I actually had checked that area for LEGO polybags recently, but evidently I wasn’t thorough enough or the Winzar’s Pack Patrol polybag has just been stocked recently.

The LEGO Legends of Chima 30251 Winzar’s Pack Patrol set consists of 38 pieces (including the Winzar of the Wolf Tribe minifigure) and retails for $3.99 plus tax at Target stores. The Winzar minifigure has been available in two other 2013 LEGO Legend of Chima sets already, but the swamp ski vehicle that he comes with is exclusive to this polybag set.

Personally, as a Valentine’s Day set I think this has to be one of the most bizarre choices LEGO has ever made for a seasonal holiday polybag set. Nothing says “romance” like a sinister-looking one-eyed wolfman of a warring animal tribe riding a deadly swamp skimmer vehicle!

If you want to add this LEGO Chima polybag set to your collection, I would definitely recommend picking it up soon, as Target gets very clearance-happy after a holiday and tends to sell out of these LEGO polybag sets quickly when they’re breaking down the seasonal section.
