When the LEGO Justice League vs. Bizarro League DVD set was revealed last weekend, I knew it would only be a short wait until we saw pre-orders open for the set. And thus, I’ve been staking out online retailers all week waiting for the special to go up for order. Thankfully, I didn’t have to wait long–the LEGO DC Super Heroes Justice League vs. Bizarro League set with Batzarro minifigure is now up for order at the discounted price of 30% Off!

When it comes to ordering LEGO books and DVDs, I rarely need to pre-order anywhere other than Amazon to get the best price around. And true to form, Amazon has the best price again on the latest LEGO DVD set, with a sale price of $13.99–a full $6 off the $19.99 MSRP for this set.

Over the course of the week, the black raspberry-colored LEGO Batzarro minifigure has really grown on me, so I was really hoping for a good deal on this combo pack. For $14, I’m definitely willing to shell out to get Batzarro and the LEGO Bizarro League DVD.

No one’s seen the actual LEGO DC Justice League vs. Bizarro League cartoon yet, so there’s no telling the quality of it, but if it’s as good as the much-loved LEGO Batman Beleaguered TV special cartoon, it’ll be quite a treat. And speaking of Batman Beleaguered, that 22-minute long cartoon is also included as a special feature on the DVD, as well as a “Beleaguered Gag Reel” (ugh–I hate fabricated Bloopers) and “Me Am Bizarrro” (a featurette about the League of Opposites).

The exclusive LEGO Batzarro minifigure (plus the LEGO Justice League vs. Bizarro League cartoon DVD) is now available for order, and will be released on February 10th, 2015. I doubt I’ll find a better deal, so I went ahead and placed my pre-order (although Amazon will automatically lower the price on pre-orders when the price goes down anyway).
