Just when I thought it was safe to travel back into the wilderness, an unexpected pair of clever girls have struck! I thought that I had covered all of the LEGO Jurassic World sets coming to stores this summer, but I was mistaken–there’s a sixth and final set on the way: the retailer exclusive LEGO Raptor Escape 75920 has now appeared! And it’s come packing the final two members of the Raptor Squad: Echo and Charlie!
The cats (or rather, the raptors) are out of the bag now, as a Polish online retailer leaked photos to the internet of the final Jurassic World LEGO set: the 75920 Raptor Escape set!
This set includes a raptor containment pen (which, uh… doesn’t look terribly secure, does it?), along with a brick-built, flick-fire missile firing ATV and four figures. Two of the figures are the remaining two members of the Jurassic World Raptor Squad: the raptors Charlie and Echo (Charlie is the green raptor, Echo is the tan-brown one).
The other two figures included with this set are yet another random Jurassic World Vet minifig (this time with what looks to be a huge electroshock rod) and the raptor tamer Barry minifigure (as played by Omar Sy in the movie)! While we’re getting plenty (and I mean plenty) of Vet minifigs as part of the Jurassic World theme in May, the Barry figure (and both raptors!) will be exclusively available in LEGO 75920.
As this set was not shown the rest of the Jurassic World toys at the 2015 New York Toy Fair, it’s almost definitely going to be a retailer exclusive available only at the LEGO Store and a specific chain of stores in each country. I’ll post an update once we know the piece count, American price (it’s selling for the equivalent of $39.99 overseas), and have better photos of the LEGO Raptor Escape set.
What do you think of the sixth and last Jurassic World set, dinosaur lovers? Will you be buying this Jurassic World Raptor Escape 75920 set to complete your raptor squad?
Omar Sy in an american movie? I’m curious to see that.
