Though January 2015 has been an expensive month for LEGO fans, filled with new exclusives and new releases in popular themes like LEGO Star Wars, LEGO Chima and LEGO Justice League, many collectors are still feeling a bit of a void as they await the first LEGO Marvel 2015 sets. Themed for Avengers: Age of Ultron, the first 2015 LEGO Marvel sets still won’t arrive until late this winter. But as awesome as the LEGO 2015 catalog photos of the LEGO Avengers Age of Ultron sets were, I know plenty of fans have been dying to see some crisp, hi-res photos of the LEGO Marvel Age of Ultron sets. And while we still have to wait to buy it, the LEGO The Hulk Buster Smash 76031 photos have now appeared!

If LEGO wanted to take almost every one of the elements that fans are most excited about in the Avengers Age of Ultron movie and wrap them all into one LEGO set, then they have definitely succeeded!

Not only does the 76031 LEGO The Hulkbuster Smash set include the toys to recreate the epic fight between Hulk and Hulk Buster Iron Man that fans have been salivating about (and my, is Hulk Buster Iron Man a big boy!), but it also comes with the hot new characters of Scarlet Witch and Ultron Prime!

The main attraction of this set is, no-questions-asked, the LEGO Hulk Buster Iron Man figure itself. Rather than being an oversized figure, the Hulk Buster Iron Man is actually fully brick-built and monstrously huge (probably a little too huge). In fact, it’s so big that the included Iron Man Mark 43 minifigure can slide comfortably inside of the Hulk Buster armor!

While the Hulk figure included with this set is sporting a cool new olive skin color, I think he may have met his match in Hulkbuster Iron Man!

Believe it or not, LEGO is thus far only the second toy company to show off an Avengers Age of Ultron Scarlet Witch figure (after the Diamond Select Minimates Scarlet Witch). I know that Hot Toys and Funko are both planning on releasing their own Scarlet Witch toys, but the LEGO Scarlet Witch minifigure will be beating every single one of them to the market. Way to go!

I believe that LEGO is also the only company so far to show off an Ultron figure officially titled as being “Ultron Prime”. This particular image of Ultron Prime isn’t doing him any favors, as it looks like he’s walking on red stilts. I think the Ultron Prime minifigure will look much better in-person.

The LEGO Avengers Hulk Buster Smash 76031 set is scheduled to be released in Europe in April 2015, with an earlier release in late February/March 2015 in the United States.
