LEGO is really spoiling collectors this year with the plethora of free promo LEGO polybag sets that they’ve been giving out at LEGO Stores. From this month’s exclusive LEGO Jor-El minifigure to the May the 4th Han Solo Hoth minifigure, we’ve had some really killer exclusive LEGO promos in 2013. And as it turns out, in the second half of 2013, it looks like things will get even cooler–or should I say “hotter”? Coming to LEGO Stores in July 2013: the free LEGO Hot Dog Cart 40078!

With the exception of the May 2013 Iron Man vs. Fighting Drone promo, I feel like LEGO has put out some fabulous free promo LEGO sets this year. But the finest set I can remember ever hasn’t been released just yet–it’s coming next month!

As seen in the just-released July 2013 LEGO Store calendar, from July 1-31, 2013, LEGO VIP Members can get a free LEGO Creator Hot Dog Cart polybag with any purchase of $75 or more at the LEGO Store! With the mighty Tower of Orthanc set being released July 1st 2013 as well, I imagine most LEGO VIP customers won’t have too much trouble finding $75 worth of product to buy that day!

This is easily one of my favorite LEGO sets of 2013, as doofy as that sounds. The little LEGO ketchup and mustard bottles melt my heart with their cuteness, and the parasol on the cart is adorable. And I really like the look of the LEGO Hot Dog Vendor minifigure! He’s got a pretty stylish goatee and bushy eyebrows, just like me–if only he shared my failing eyes and had glasses printed on his face, he’d be my perfect self-portrait minifigure!
