It’s hard to believe, but we are just two days away from the biggest LEGO unveiling of the entire year–the New York Toy Fair 2014! While many of the LEGO 2014 summer sets have already been seen internationally at events like the 2014 Nuremeberg Toy Fair, this is the first time that the sets will be seen stateside–and also the very first time that photography of some of the sets will be allowed. Among the sets that will be on display this weekend are the highly-anticipated LEGO Arctic 2014 sets, highlighted by some amazing LEGO dogs and a polar bear…
It seems sort of ironic to me that LEGO is going to be releasing a whole wave of polar, arctic-themed LEGO sets smack dab in the middle of the summer here in the United States, but I’ll take new Arctic LEGO sets any time I can get them! This LEGO Arctic 2014 sets are as follows:
LEGO Arctic Snowmobile 60032 (44 pieces) — $6.99
LEGO Arctic Ice Crawler 60033 (113 pieces) — $14.99
LEGO Arctic Helicrane 60034 (262 pieces) — $39.99
LEGO Arctic Outpost 60035 (374 pieces) — $49.99
LEGO Arctic Base Camp 60036 (733 pieces) — $89.99
These five 2014 LEGO City Arctic sets are all expected to be on display at the International Toy Fair 2014 that begins on Sunday in New York City, so we should have plenty more higher-quality and detailed images of the LEGO Arctic Summer 2014 sets to share in just a few days! Obviously these are just our first glances at the LEGO City Arctic sets coming in June/July 2014, but I’m definitely feeling positive about this theme already! The new LEGO dog sled team and LEGO polar bear are total must-haves for me, and the theme as a whole seems like a total winner. What do you think of the reinvigorated LEGO Arctic sets so far, LEGO fans?
I was looking forward to these then I saw the pricing. The lowest price per piece is $0.12 for the largest set. That’s Star Wars pricing in City sets.
