While I don’t imagine that the LEGO Back to the Future Delorean Time Machine set is going to legitimately top anyone’s list for the best-executed LEGO set of 2013, my wife can quote all three Back to the Future movies from start to finish, so I knew that we’d be bringing the set home on day one regardless of any of its flaws. There was no way I was going to pay scalper prices from resellers who bought the Delorean Time Machine LEGO set at San Diego Comic Con, but I’ll happily pick the set up now that it’s available direct from LEGO at a reasonable price.
