Last night I posted about the complete lineup of mass-release LEGO Marvel Avengers Age of Ultron sets, and now it’s time to step back and take a close look at the sets, one at a time! Of the six sets, one of them could be considered a “rehash” (as it focuses on a vehicle that was released in LEGO form just a few years ago), but I’m going to consider it an “upgrade” instead–it’s the LEGO The Avengers Quinjet Chase 76032 set, with exclusive LEGO Vision minifigure!
The Quinjet was previously released in the 2012 LEGO Quinjet Aerial Battle 6869 set, but the jet has been redesigned and drastically improved since that release. The 76032 LEGO Avengers Quinjet Chase set’s Quinjet features a much smoother design and a far more eye-pleasing white and blue color scheme than the 2012 LEGO Quinjet had. The LEGO 76032 Quinjet looks sleeker and less “block-y”, and will definitely be the de facto Quinjet in my collection.
In addition, the set will include a little van with rear opening doors, stud-shooters on the jet, and possibly the action feature of the LEGO Quinjet being able to drop Captain America’s LEGO motorcycle (at least, that’s what the image seems to suggest).
For minifigures, LEGO has put together a stacked lineup for the LEGO 76032 set. The most obvious highlight of this set is that it’s the exclusive place to get the first-ever LEGO Vision minifigure–but he’s not the only exclusive in this set!
The LEGO Black Widow minifigure will only be appearing in the Avengers Quinjet Chase LEGO 76032 set as far as 2015 sets go, and this is also the only place to get the LEGO Ultimate Ultron minifigure (which I take to mean Ultron in his ultimate form from the movie, and not Ultron from the Marvel Ultimate Universe).
The LEGO Avengers Quinjet Chase 76032 set is scheduled to be released in April 2015, and probably will not be released early (except in some stores by accident) due to strict release dates for Avengers Age of Ultron movie merchandise. The set will contain 722 pieces and retail for 79,99 Euros (about $100 US). Hopefully this set actually retails in America for more like $79.99–which would still be over my preferred ten cents per piece predilection, but at least not astronomically so.
How do you like the 76032 LEGO Avengers Quinjet City Chase set, collectors? Will you be tossing your old LEGO Quinjet in the closet in favor of this one, or are you not impressed with LEGO’s new and possibly-improved interpretation of the Avengers Quinjet?
I will be getting this set. I want that Hulk Buster Armor. Plus a great range of minifigs.

Nope! That’s what happens when I work on an article while half-asleep and with a fever! I’ll get it cleaned up now. =D
