When Hasbro first started bringing out their Kre-O line of building toys and figures two years ago, I seriously thought the line was a third-rate, doomed LEGO wannabe. Over the past two years, I’ve warmed a lot toward the Kre-O line as whole, mostly because of the ultra-fun Kre-O Transformers and GI Joe figure blind bags that Hasbro has been releasing lately. So when I heard Hasbro had picked up the Star Trek: Into Darkness movie license and would be producing movie Star Trek Kre-O blind bags, I was pretty psyched. And though I’m not entirely thrilled with the figure lineup, I picked up a set and have the Kre-O Star Trek Series 1 codes numbers list to share…
When I heard Hasbro had obtained the Star Trek license and was going to be using it for Kre-O, visions of Captain Picard, Borgs like Seven of Nine, Ferengi and the Voyager crew danced in my head. Seeing how deep and obscure the first series of Kre-O GI Joe and Transformers blind bags were, I thought those sorts of things might be a real possibility. But, well… that’s not exactly what Kre-O Star Trek Series 1 is about.
Instead, this series consists of just six figures (not sixteen as we’ve seen in the Transformers Micro-Changers Series 1 and GI Joe Kre-O Series 1 sets) taken from the modern Star Trek movies: Nero, the main villain of the 2009 Star Trek; Keenser, Scotty’s “adorable” alien assistant; a Gorn figure from the recent “Star Trek” video game; and a Klingon figure make up four of the six entries. The last two figures are “Grasia” and “Lieutenant Sprog”, and I truly have no idea who either of them are.
As with all Kre-O sets released to date, Star Trek Kre-O codes exist that you can match up to the numbers imprinted on the side of each blind bag’s back to identify the figure contained within. So if you’re jonesin’ for a Gorn or want the first-ever Keenser figure, use the Kre-O Star Trek figures code number list to know that you’re buying exactly the figure that you want.
The Star Trek Kre-O Series 1 Blind Bags code number list as follows:
Nero – 3071105
Keenser – 3071106
Lt. Sprog – 3071107
Klingon – 3071108
Gorn – 3071109
Grasia – 3071110
If the Kre-O Star Trek Kreons figure packs haven’t arrived in your area yet, all of the blind bag figures and sets are available fairly cheaply online as well. Good luck, Star Trek collectors!
I’m not sure of this, but in Slovakia (and probably in entire central Europe), there are bit different code numbers:
Nero – 3085105
Keenser – 3085106 checked and confirmed
Lt. Sprog – 3085107 checked and confirmed
Klingon – 3085108
Gorn – 3085109
Grasia – 3085110 checked and confirmed
However, it seems all the bags have the same last 2 (or 3) numbers (from …05 for Nero to …10 for Grasia).
