I wasn’t expecting to see the new K’NEX Super Mario Bros. Wii Blind Bags at retail so quickly after their reveal, but they surprised me by showing up at my local Target stores this week! These figures are a spinoff line from the popular K’NEX Super Mario Kart toys, and just like the Super Mario Kart blind bag figures, I’ve got the code list for the 2013 K’NEX Super Mario Bros. Wii figures available right here, so you never have to pull randomly again…
This first series of K’NEX New Super Mario Bros. Wii figure blind bags is based off of the popular Wii and Wii U New Super Mario Bros. video games. As such, the line is centered on the playable characters from that game: Mario, Luigi, yellow Toad, blue Toad, and their ride-able Yoshis. In addition, there are two powered-up versions of the Mario and Luigi figures (Fire Mario and Ice Luigi).
Finally, the one character completely new to this series of K’NEX blind bags is the Princess Peach figure! Peach was a big omission from the K’NEX Mario Kart blind bags, so I’m thrilled to see her in the K’NEX New Super Mario Bros. Wii Series 1 Mystery Packs.
As with the K’NEX Super Mario Kart Mystery Pack Blind Bag figure codes, please be aware that the numbers themselves are irrelevant. I repeat–The code numbers themselves do not matter. The figure contained in each blind bag is based solely upon the positioning of the underline(s) in the number.
The full code number list of 2013 K’NEX Super Mario Bros. Wii blind bags codes is as follows:
Mario – First Number Underlined Once (ie. 0512310)
Luigi – Second Number Underlined Once (ie. 0512310)
Princess Peach – Second Number Underlined Twice (ie. 0512310 [double underline])
Yellow Yoshi – Fourth Number Underlined Once (ie. 0512310)
Blue Yoshi – Fifth Number Underlined Once (ie. 0512310)
Yellow Toad – Sixth Number Underlined Once (ie. 0512310)
Blue Toad – First Number Underlined Twice (ie. 0512310 [double underline])
Fire Mario – Second Number Underlined Once (ie. 0512310)
Ice Luigi – Fourth Number Underlined Once (ie. 0512310)
Now go forth and build your New Super Mario Bros. figure collections, Nintendo fans!
Why does the code say “first number” but it actually skips to the 3rd or 5th even?
That would be because I wasn’t paying enough attention to what I was typing. Nice eyes!
The list has been fixed. Thanks!
Which ones are rarest like the bowser in the last set? Thanks
The case that I bought from had only one Princess Peach and one yellow Toad in it. Yes, there’s a possibility that Yellow Toad could be shortpacked (for some reason).
Is the listed information right or the “ie” information correct? They still don’t seem to be matching up. For example, Luigi says second number underlined, but the sample code shows the third. The yellow yoshi, blue yoshi and yellow toad don’t match up either. Thanks for the info!!!
Why are there 7 numbers, but you highlight the last one and say, “6th number?”
Thanks for the help with this!! My kids and I spent about 15 minutes feeling each pack trying to figure out which character we were getting. We ended up with a Princess at least! We still need a Luigi.
First zero double underline for series two is rare DAISY (only two in the box I had access to)
Here are the codes for Series 2 that I found today at Toys R Us
