Confession time: I have never in my life bought, built or even played with a LEGO Bionicle toy. It’s not that I have anything against those types of LEGO sets–I’ve just never been real interested in LEGO sets that aren’t your typical brick-built fare, so I’ve never cared enough to pay attention to one. Until now. My wife’s eyes lit up when she saw the new LEGO Legends of Chima Buildable Figure sets in person last night, and she insisted on coming home with LEGO Chima CHI Razar 70205 and building it right away. And you know what? It’s really not that bad. And by “not that bad”, I mean that I’m totally astounded that the LEGO CHI Razar figure is such a super-fun toy…

When you own several thousands action figures of various sizes like I do, shelf space is a luxury. So there’s no way that I can purchase even close to the number of LEGO sets and minifigures I want to each year. That said, I do run a LEGO site, so it’d be futile for me to try to resist the charm and allure of pulling blind bags from every LEGO Minifigures series. Thus, I dropped by the LEGO Store on launch day and picked up a handful of the LEGO Minifigures Series 10 71001 blind bags. With no LEGO Minifigures Series 10 codes available, I had to hope for the best. The verdict? This Minifigures series is so good, I’m going to need more shelves…

LEGO Legends of Chima Razcal’s Double-Crosser 30254 Review & Photos

LEGO Legends of Chima has only been out for a little over two months now, but LEGO just keeps chugging away with retirements and new releases for the theme! A couple weeks ago they announced the first four sets that would be discontinued from the theme, and now they’ve shipped out another Chima polybag set! This time it’s the LEGO Chima Razcal’s Double-Crosser 30254 polybag. If you don’t already have a Razcal minifigure, this polybag is a superb deal. If you do already have a Razcal, well… not so much…
