Ordinarily, one of the high points of the whole month for me is posting scans of the next month’s LEGO Store calendar, complete with all of the sales, promotions, and events that will be going on at local LEGO Stores.

Well, the April 2014 LEGO Stores Calendar came out about two weeks ago, and I’m only now posting images of the calendar and bringing it up for discussion. Based on that knowledge, you would probably guess my excitement for the LEGO Store April 2014 calendar is fairly low, and you’d be right. April 2014 looks to be one of the most “meh” months at the LEGO Store this year…

LEGO DC Superheroes fans rejoiced at the end of January 2014 when it was revealed that the LEGO Stores March 2014 free promo minifigure would be the last DC Super Heroes minifigure needed to complete the Justice League: Martian Manhunter! But this story has a shocking plot twist–if you snoozed, you missed out! Though the LEGO Martian Manhunter minifigure promo was meant to last until March 31 2014, the promo has sold out in just 10 days and is no longer available!

It’s literally taken the better part of a decade since the first member was released, but the LEGO Justice League minifigures team is almost complete! The first-ever LEGO Batman minifigure arrived in 2006, with LEGO Superman and LEGO Wonder Woman joining him in 2012. 2013 brought us a LEGO Aquamam minifigure, and 2014 has added a LEGO Flash minifigure.
