You know you’re a genuine comic book nerd when: an exclusive LEGO figure of the Bizarro Batman, Batzarro is announced, and you actually know who that character is.
LEGO is apparently planning to crank out LEGO DC Super Heroes products in 2015 like never before, and over the weekend, word broke about their next endeavor: an original animated LEGO Justice League movie! The LEGO DC Comics: Justice League vs. Bizarro League movie is coming to DVD/Blu-Ray in 2015, and it’s bringing along an exclusive LEGO Batzarro minifigure!

When the 2015 LEGO DC Super Heroes sets’ images leaked out back in September, there was one straggler that was holding out on us. We knew the set’s name and contents from earlier materials, but photos of this LEGO DC Comics 2015 set managed to elude us for more than an additional month.
But today, the void in our hearts and the blank in our wish lists can be filled–the LEGO DC Super Heroes Brainiac Attack 76040 set (with Martian Manhunter and Supergirl minifigures!) has now finally been revealed!

One of the big mysteries about the LEGO Legends of Chima 2014 sets lineup has been when and where (and if) the LEGO Chima Frax’ Phoenix Flyer 30264 set would be available in the United States. While the set was released internationally in the summer, US LEGO fans have been one Phoenix Tribe minifigure short for months. But finally, Christmas has come–literally! The 30264 LEGO Frax’ Phoenix Flyer polybag has now been released in the stocking stuffer section!

There’s been a wealth of false rumors and misinformation circulating about LEGO Minifigures Series 13 71008, so I’ve been staying silent on the subject until some verifiable proof came along to support claims about the series. Well, over the course of the last few days, that proof has finally arrived!
Thanks to a couple of minifigures shown in the UK LEGO Club Magazine, as well as a leaked photo of the display stand for the series, we can now confirm the authenticity of the actual 71008 LEGO Minifigures Series 13 set coming in winter 2015!

Earlier this year, LEGO released the delightful LEGO Bike Shop & Cafe set as part of the LEGO Creator 2014 sets wave. I really liked that set, as it give consumers a chance to buy modular buildings that are trimmed down and about half the cost of the super-expensive Modular Buildings such as the LEGO Parisian Restaurant. And in winter 2015, LEGO is expanding the block with another LEGO Creator Modular building: the LEGO Toy & Grocery Shop 31036 is joining the neighborhood!

One of the most anticipated theme extensions of 2014 is the fall expansion of the LEGO Minecraft theme. While the Minecraft theme was previously limited to micro-scale sets with tiny micro-figures, the line is shifting to the more traditional LEGO style to close out 2014. While details about the exact release date for the new Minecraft LEGO sets in the United States has been murky until now, the online LEGO Shop has now cleared things up by announcing an online release date for the theme. In 2015, after having the spotlight shone brightly on them for the past several years, the Star Wars Prequel Trilogy movies will finally be getting a bit of a break from LEGO. While we’ve had a plethora of LEGO Star Wars sets based on the prequel trilogy movies in the last few years, encompassing almost every major vehicle seen in the Star Wars Episodes I-III.
