There was a veritable tsunami of LEGO news and photos that leaked out today, but beyond a shadow of a doubt the biggest and most noteworthy item of the day was the first hi-res images coming out for the LEGO Disney Princess 2014 theme! The launch of the Disney Princess LEGO theme is a huge deal and I want to give in-depth attention to each of the six sets over the next week, but to begin, let’s take a look at the entire 2014 LEGO Disney Princess sets list and images of each set…
But rejoice, true LEGO Disney Princess sets are finally due to arrive! They’re on track to arrive in less than two months, and the first images of the first half-dozen LEGO Disney Princess sets finally debuted today! There are six sets that make up the first wave of LEGO Disney Princess sets. The first is the LEGO Rapunzel’s Creativity Tower 41054 shown above, and the rest are are as follows:
LEGO Ariel’s Amazing Treasures 41050
LEGO Merida’s Highland Games 41051
LEGO Ariel’s Magical Kiss 41052
LEGO Cinderella’s Dream Carriage 41053
LEGO Cinderella’s Romantic Castle 41055
The winter 2014 LEGO Disney Princess sets will be officially released 1/1/2014, but all hope is not lost if you’re dreaming of giving these sets for Christmas presents! As in past years, I fully expect some online retailers to break street date and start offering these Disney Princess LEGO sets for ordering in mid-December, so you just may be able to really surprise someone you love with these sets at Christmas!
You can ‘Like’ Bricks and Bloks on Facebook to be kept up to date on LEGO news, sales, and photos; and I’ll be posting on the Bricks and Bloks Facebook page as soon as any retailers put these sets up for sale early.
How do you like the first-ever non-Duplo LEGO Disney Princess sets, LEGO fans? Are these some of the nicest LEGO sets ever aimed at the female demographic, or is the style leaving you cold?
